Client Executive

Datacraft is looking for talented, motivated Client Executives. If you are great at client management, business development, excel at customer service, and relish a challenge, you may have just found your perfect job!

The target market is the Manufacturing, Distribution, and the Producer market segments. The majority of selling will be over the phone with one to two face-to-face visits required per sales opportunity.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following skills and experiences:

  • Minimum 5 years selling complex software solutions or hardware to Manufacturing, Distribution, or Producer enterprises.
  • Previous sales experience at an early stage company.
  • Enterprise IT focus.
  • An understanding of SCM, ERP, or factory automation software products.
  • An engineering, IT, marketing, or business-related degree.
  • Meets and/or exceeds established sales goals/quotas.
  • Strong business development, technical & presentation skills.
  • Ability to present technical concepts & business solutions clearly with the use of visual and verbal demonstrations.
  • Identify key decision makers with-in an organization and build strong partnerships.
  • Excellent professional interpersonal skills to interface with C level management. Superior oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • Exceptional degree of professional creativity.

The desired candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and knows how to win working for a small company that does not have a large brand, large customer base or marketing machine. In addition, the candidate must be hard working, driven, competitive and creative. The successful candidate:

  • Will carry out the whole of the sales process: canvassing, promotion, commercial and contractual negotiation.
  • Will be responsible for the commercial follow-up of clients in several countries.
  • For this, you will be supported by pre-sales consultants, our partnership network, various commercial activities (demonstrations, trade fairs, etc.) and our client network.

QA/Support Engineer

This person will have a dual role within Datacraft Solutions, and using their experience and background to provide a professional and effective support service to our customer. In addition to this role play a successful product release of our enterprise learning management solutions by taking an active part in the QA process for all products and customer solutions. This includes monitoring and managing the support system and executing testing and maintaining a Quality standard for the product suite. The successful candidate will become a product expert. This role will also focus on this knowledge transfer to other staff, and to customers to ensure that they acquire the knowledge and skills needed to develop and maintain their system.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-starting individual who also enjoys a client facing role, and technical tasks associated with this challenging job. The role will typically require 2 or more years of successful QA/support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Developing out of the box and customization test plans and test cases for the company software suite.
  • Actively carry out testing, monitor progress, and report results to management.
  • Develop & maintain quality processes and procedures that are the best fit for the product and team.
  • Assist in the testing of customer specific development work when required.
  • Contribute to the Product documentation forum, review drafts of same, and signoff.
  • As part of the role of product expert, to give Training to staff and customers.
  • Manage the current support system
  • Provide professional, expert and timely responses to support queries

Skills

  • Experience of RDBMS products (ORACLE & SQL Server) would be a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and Cold Fusion.
  • Outstanding communication, teamwork and customer management skills.
  • Experience with automation of test cases is an advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of testing procedures and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills

Junior Developer

Datacraft Solutions, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated junior software engineer to join our team. You will experience the benefits of working at an established start up - a small team of people with many years of development experience, a very focused mission, outstanding customers and as much responsibility as you demonstrate desire and capability to handle, without the funding risks typically encountered with start ups.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years software development experience with*Perl and 0-2 years of OO Perl coding experience.
  • 1+ years of RDBMS experience in a Unix/Linux environment (schema design exp is ideal. PL-SQL skill desired but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - demonstrating the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts, ideas and details to technical and non-technical individuals
  • Team player - willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • BSCS/EE or equivalent
